CLOVIS, NM - Police in Clovis are searching for the driver who crashed a stolen car into a house last Thursday morning, the Amarillo Globe-News reports.
Officers were called to the scene shortly after 3 a.m. after a caller reported that a car had crashed into their home in the 900 block of Comer Drive. Police learned that a cream-colored Ford Explorer had hit a vehicle in the driveway and then struck the residence. The Ford was reported as stolen to the Portales Police Department.
Two people in the home at the time were not injured. The driver of the Ford fled the scene before police arrived, and is now being sought.
