TAOS, NM - A Taos County Sheriff's Deputy responding to a call was injured in a crash last week, according to The Taos News.
The accident happened Aug. 8 at the intersection of New Mexico 68 and Paseo Del Cañon in Taos at about 8 p.m. Authorities said Sheriff’s Deputy Teodoro Flores was en route to a local hospital where a patient had become violent and fled on foot.
Flores had his emergency lights on while going south on NM 68 when his vehicle collided with a Jeep at the intersection. Flores and the other driver both sustained minor injuries in the crash.
