GRANTS, NM - The New Mexico State Police issued a traffic alert Saturday afternoon following an accident in Cibola County.
The NMSP reported at 3:12 p.m. that the crash took place on Interstate 40 at mile post 104 east of Grants. Westbound traffic on I-40 was reduced to one lane while state police and emergency crews responded to the scene. All eastbound traffic was open. Drivers were advised to use caution.
An update was later issued that all lanes had been reopened. No details were available on whether anyone had been injured.
