ROSWELL, NM - A rollover accident in Chaves County sent a driver to the hospital last week, reports the Roswell Daily Record.
The crash happened Aug. 8 on Aberdeen Road east of Hagerman at about 12:30 p.m. Crews with Dexter Fire Rescue responded to the scene and found that a van had overturned, with the driver out of the vehicle.
The motorist was taken to Eastern New Mexico Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The vehicle caught fire after the crash, but the fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
