Accident involving semi slows traffic on Interstate 65 north

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - An accident involving a semi-truck disrupted traffic on the northwest side of Indianapolis on Wednesday morning.

The crash, reported by WIBC Traffic at 6:17 a.m., occurred on northbound Interstate 65 before the exit for Interstate 465. A semi was rear-ended by another vehicle at that location. It was reported as an injury crash, though there was no immediate word on who had been injured.

The left shoulder of the interstate was blocked while crews were responding to the scene, and drivers were advised to expect slowdowns.
