INDIANAPOLIS, IN - One person was killed in an accident involving a car and a semi-truck in Indianapolis Sunday morning, WXIN reported.
Indiana State Police were at the scene along Interstate 465 northbound after the crash occurred at about 7:42 a.m. The vehicles collided in the ara between East 30th Street and East 38th Street, with one of the vehicles catching fire as a result.
No details were immediately released on the identity of the person who died.
ISP are investigating the cause of the wreck, which shut down the four northbound right lanes of the interstate for several hours.
