KALAMAZOO, MI - A child was rushed to the hospital following a pedestrian collision in Kalamazoo on Tuesday, according to MLive.com.
The victim, age 7, was hit by a vehicle in the area of James Street and Lane Boulevard just after 4 p.m. The child suffered serious injuries in the crash but was later reported to be in stable condition at the hospital.
The driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. It is not believed that drugs or alcohol were contributing factors, but the investigation is ongoing.
