STEVENSVILLE, MI - A motorist was killed in a railroad accident in Stevensville on Wednesday, reports WBND.
It happened in the 5300 block of St. Joseph Avenue and was reported at about 5:30 p.m. According to the Lincoln Township Police Department;, a driver was traveling on a private driveway that crossed train tracks to a residence. As the vehicle headed west, it was struck by a northbound train.
The 28-year-old driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead after being taken to Corewell Health Hospital. No one else was injured in the collision. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle.
