Driver dies following single-vehicle accident in Salem Township

SALEM TOWNSHIP, MI - Authorities are investigating an accident in Allegan County Saturday evening that left a driver dead.

WKZO reports the incident occurred in the area of 30th Street and 137th Avenue near Burnips in Salem Township. The driver of a four-wheeler crashed at that location at about 7:15 p.m., according to the Allegan County Sheriff's Office.

First responders were dispatched to the scene but could not revive the driver, whose name was not released. No details were disclosed on what led to the crash, which occurred on private property.
