WALKER, MI - Emergency crews were called to the scene of a semi-truck accident in Kent County on Wednesday morning.
A report by WZZM states that a semi jackknifed on westbound Interstate 96 at exit 31B at about 6:45 a.m. The ramp to the interstate was shut down for several hours while Michigan State Police and the Walker Fire Department responded to the wreck. No injuries were reported.
The ramp reopened at about 10:10 a.m. after the scene was cleared. Michigan State Police said speed was considered to have been a contributing factor in the crash.
