OTSEGO TOWNSHIP, MI - Authorities are investigating a pedestrian accident near Otsego Township early Sunday morning that left a man hospitalized.
According to details reported by WKZO, the collision occurred in the area of 106th Avenue and Miller Road at about 12:40 a.m. The Allegan County Sheriff's Office learned that a man was in the travel portion of the roadway when he was struck by a pickup truck heading west.
The victim, a 45-year-old man from Plainwell, was seriously injured and taken to a medical facility in the Kalamazoo area. The initial investigation found that the driver involved did not appear to have been impaired or speeding at the time of the incident.
