Motorcyclist injured in accident on 34th Street in Allegan Township

ALLEGAN TOWNSHIP, MI - A motorcycle accident in Allegan Township Sunday evening sent a woman to the hospital, WKZO reported.

The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred on 34th Street near 122nd Avenue at about 6 p.m.

According to investigators, a woman riding a motorcycle lost control while going around a curve in the roadway and crashed.

The rider, a 26-year-old Allegan woman, was hospitalized but her condition was not immediately released. The initial investigation has indicated that speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
