Northbound lanes of US-131 in Grand Rapids closed due to accident

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - A multi-vehicle accident shut down a portion of US-131 in Grand Rapids on Monday, WZZM reported.

Grand Rapids firefighters and other first responders were called to the scene near Wealthy Street after the incident occurred at about 5 p.m. One of the vehicles that reportedly crashed was a truck hauling a camper trailer. There was no immediate word on whether anyone was injured.

The northbound lanes of US-131 were closed for about two hours while the scene was being cleared.
