Overturned tanker truck shuts down intersection in Walker

WALKER TOWNSHIP, MI - Police were called to the scene of a truck accident in Walker on Saturday afternoon.

In a Facebook post shortly after 12:30 p.m., Walker police said a milk tanker truck overturned in the area of Remembrance Road NW and Wilson Avenue NW.  Officers closed off the intersection to traffic while crews responded to the crash.  Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.

No injuries were reported in the incident.  The roadway reopened before 4 p.m.
