GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Grand Rapids Police Department is trying to track down the driver responsible for the death of a pedestrian Sunday morning, reports WXMI.
The incident happened in the area of Eastern Avenue and 28th Street. According to police, 55-year-old Donna Nguyen was hit by a car at the intersection and suffered fatal injuries.
The driver involved kept going after the collision and was last seen headed west on 28th Street. Police are searching for the vehicle, which is believed to be a blue 2019 Ford Fusion, with extensive damage to the front passenger side, especially in the headlight, fender, hood, and bumper.
Anyone with information about the hit-and-run was urged to contact Grand Rapids police.
