MILTON TOWNSHIP, MI - A collision at an intersection in Cass County sent one of the drivers to the hospital, authorities said.
According to WXMI, two vehicles crashed Saturday night at Kline Road and Redfield Street in Milton Township. The Cass County Sheriff's Office said a woman was driving south across Redfield Street shortly before 10 p.m. but failed to look for oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle.
The first driver, a 67-year-old woman from Virginia, was taken to an Indiana hospital. No details were released on the extent of her injuries or the condition of the other driver, a 22-year-old woman. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, the sheriff's office said.
At this point, investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were contributing factors in the accident.
