Fort Wayne holds a distinct status as the second-largest city in Indiana, our Indianapolis car accident attorney details.

Its more than 250,000 residents live just 18 miles from the Ohio border and 50 miles from the Michigan border, lending Fort Wayne a flavor all its own.

Founded in 1794 as a U.S. Army fort under the direction of Anthony Wayne, Fort Wayne lies at the point where the Maumee River, St. Marys River and St. Joseph River merge.

The feel of Fort Wayne is influenced by the presence of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), the Universtity of Saint Francis, Concordia Theological Seminary, and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. It also serves as the final resting place for John Chapman, better known as Johnny Appleseed.

I had a slight accident recently in which the car I was in hit another car that was trying to jump a red light. But the bump was very slight indeed and in the emergency room I was examined and was prescribed 6 pain killers a day (200 milligrams each). I took the drugs for about a week and have felt okay ever since. The insurance offered me $500 plus my emergency bills but after several negotiations went up to $3000. I am asking for $5000. Should I take the $3000 or seek further action to get more?
